JUNGLE [2018 ARCHIVE]

The Blueprint: Built in 2018 on an iPhone 5 SE, this track started with one objective: to completely rattle the rearview mirror of a car with blown-out subs. But the architecture goes deeper than just heavy 808s. It’s designed to be visual.

Think of the tunnel scene in Willy Wonka—the way the environment suddenly shifts, darkens, and comes violently alive. That’s the progression here. It opens with a momentary rhythm of joy and descends into an environment you have to actively navigate. Vocally, it demands a character performance to match the atmosphere.

The Reality: At the time, navigating the early days of the business, relationship growing pains, and internal friction felt like actively slicing through thick vines just to keep moving forward. "Jungle" is the sonic documentation of being lost in the thick of it, finding a momentary flash of gold in the dark, and feeling that brief awe of freedom—while never forgetting the tension it took to get there.
