RESOLUTION [2018 ARCHIVE]

The Blueprint: Constructed in 2018 between long shifts at the Alamo Drafthouse in Leesburg, Virginia, this track was built entirely on a phone. The architecture was designed to bridge two worlds: the heavy, driving trap sound of the local scene, and the expansive, narrative-driven atmosphere of a cinematic film score. It operates visually—starting with the tension of a short, intense, humid rain before the clouds crack open.

The Reality: Every sound here speaks. It is a direct documentation of the grind—the feeling of being forgotten while working through exhaustion, trying to slice through the noise. It starts in pitch black. The hi-hats act as the initial yellow flame spark in the dark. When the main drop hits, the audio mimics the visual of looking directly at the sun with your eyes closed—a heavy, warm blur of orange, red, and light yellow, representing the final resolution of an ailment.
